Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav held

A one day Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was organised at T.G Higher Secondary School, Imphal by the Regional Outreach Bureau, Imphal, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India today. A.Sangeeta Devi, Principal, T.G Higher Secondary School, Imphal presided the event.
Speaking as a resource person, Kebi Goswami, Lecturer, History, T.G Higher Secondary School, Imphal explained elaborately on the Indian freedom struggle and contributions of the unsung heroes and lesser known freedom fighters from Manipur during the Indian freedom struggle. The contributions of JananetaHijamIrabotand Indian National Army which reached Moirangwas also discussed, amongst others.
As a part of the outreach programme, students were also sensitized about COVID-19 and urged everyone to always wear mask properly, maintain hand hygiene, physical distance and SOP provided by the government.
A quiz contest was also held and prizes along with certificates were distributed.Vinita Devi Elangbam, Vice Principal, T.G Higher Secondary School, Imphal, Dharmen Singh, Lecturer, Chemistry, T.G Higher Secondary School, Imphal also attended the programme, amongst others.
