Imphal, Oct 4: Locals of Pallel Thamnapokpi today shut down Imphal-Moreh road without any warning in connection with the death of a male motorcyclist and injuring one woman in yesterday incident which took place at round 4:30 pm at Pallel Thamnapokpi under Tengnoupal Police station.
According to a report, many passengers’ vehicles and heavy truck have been put hold at Thamnapokpi by the locals.
The motorcyclist who succumbed to his injuries was identified as Kh Moshing Tarao, 48, son of (late) Kh Kochung Tarao of Tarao Laimanai village under Chandel district. His motorcycle collided with a passenger bus along the Imphal-Moreh road.
