Imphal, Jan 17: NSCN-IM expressed strong resentment to the arrest of its steering executive member , ZD. Bon by troops of 14th Sikh regiment from Bhalong/ Phalong on January 16 morning. A statement of the outfit said that ZD. Bon was returning to his home along with his family members including children and mother in law after attending a function.
The statement said that frequent raids, arrest and targeting the national workers by the Indian security forces/ agencies is undermining of its ceasefire ground rules and the peace talk itself. The outfit questioned if the GoI lack coordination to control the armed forces.
