A day after the Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam has stated that the government is working whole heartedly to introduce a law for safeguarding the indigenous people of the state, many more meira paibis in state seems to have lost faith in them. Despite the appealed to remain calm, meira paibis of the state continue to hold protest at various places demanding introduction of ILP.Khagempalli Nambul Mapal development Organisation and Khagempalli Nambul Mapal Women Welfare Association today staged a sin-in-protest at Khagempalli Panthak demanding introduction of Inner Line Permit System.
