IGAR South observed Ningol Chakouba

Inspector General Assam Riffles South organised the age old tradition of Manipur, Ningol Chakouba today at Charduar Hall, Mantripukhri, Imphal.The prestigious festival was attended by various women of the state. Attending the function as a host, Major General Rajeev Chopra, Inspector General, IGAR South said such tradition was organised to maintain the age old tradition of the state and to keep the bonding of the state. Mrs. Rashmi Chopra, President, Assam Riffles Welfare Association, said there has been lot of bloodshed in the state. She appealed to all the mothers of the state to lead the youths in right direction and to bring a peaceful state.
