Imphal, Dec 31: Major General Virendra Singh, VSM, IGAR (South) and all Ranks of Assam Rifles has extended greetings and goodwill to the people of Manipur and wish everyone a happy new year. In his message the IGAR (South) convey the people to live in peace, harmony, unity and understanding irrespective of caste creed and faith. He also appealed the people to weed out inimical elements of the society and tread towards the path of unity, peace and prosperity.
