IED found near 9 AR post at Moreh; border shield

Indo-Myanmar Border gate at Moreh in Chandel district was shield today after an IED was found planted near the santry post of 9 Assam Rifles near border gate number 2 along the border at around 8 am today morning. Following the incident normal border trade came to a complete halt as Assam Rifles personnel prevented any movement along the border since the bomb was found. Reporters who went for news coverage were not allowed to take photograph of the site where the bomb was planted. A team of Manipur Police bomb Disposal squad which arrive lately in the afternoon safely detonated the bomb.
