An improvised explosive device exploded today at around 03.15 pm at Kasom Khullen under Ukhrul district. Two civilians sustained non fatal injuries in the blast. According to source’s report the blast was allegedly conducted by KTU to create fear psychosis among the contractors and labourers on road work to facilitate extortion.
