Thoubal, Feb 20: A day after Union Home Minister Rajnath during Congress government in the state during poll campaign at various places here in Imphal, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi today hit back the BJP called it as a dubious political party which have two tongues. Speaking at the flag hoisting function of Congress Candidate Paonam Brojendra, who is contesting at Wangjing Tentha, Okram Ibobi appealed people not to trust the BJP as it lied the people of the state. He said BJP leaders always speaks but never converted what they speak into action.
“ We have given land for construction of National Sports University at two places but still now the BJP is not passing any bill in the parliament for construction of the National Sports University, forget about starting the construction.
He further added that the state government had given places for the construction of the NSU at places where they think is convenient, however the center has not taken up any measures for construction of the NSU.
Ibobi said that instead doing the needful the BJP keep on looking for the loopholes and tried to play game with the people of the state.
