Imphal, Aug 24:

The month-long humanitarian aid to COVID-19 affected families continues still today with the Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur (PLMPAM), the All Manipur Women’s Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) and the All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) distributing essential items to Covid-19 affected 244 families in different areas of Imphal West and Kakching districts in collaboration with local clubs and Meira Paibi associations, says Mrs. Thongam Apabi Leima, General Secretary, Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur in a press release. In addition to this, the distribution of AYUSH immune booster Arsenic Album and symptomatic treatment medicine, Aconite-30 to 600 individuals was also carried out alongside.
The three civil society organizations were assisted by Nupi Khunai of Liwa Lambi Bokul Makhong, Mayai Lambi Meira Paibee Apunba Lup (MALAMPAL), Nungthel Leima Nupi Lup of Top Siphai Makha Leikai and AMAWOVA UNIT of Sekmaijin area. Longjam Memchoubi, president of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur, Yumkhaibam Kunjarani, president of AMAWOVA, Wairokpam Gonendro, adviser of AMUCO and Pheiroijam Nando Luwang, president of AMUCO took part in today’s programme, it stated.
