Combine troop of 22 Assam Rifles and Thoubal Police Commando today recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions from Chingjao Hill in Thoubal district at around 1 am today. The recovered arms and ammunitions includes one 9 mm pistol, one carbine, one revolver, one Chinese hand grenade, one rifle butt, one INSAS magazine, three carbine magazine, one SLR magazine, one 9mm magazine, INSAS LR, 32 explosive cakes and 7 detonators.Police source said that no person was however arrested during the counter insurgency operation. All the siezed weapon were kept in the custody of the Thoubal Police.
