A residential wooden house was gutted in fire in Liwa Leikun under Chandel police station on Wednesday. However, no loss of life was reported.
A residential wooden house was gutted in fire in Liwa Leikun under Chandel police station on Wednesday. However, no loss of life was reported.
The house belongs to one Ajola Shinglai w/o late H Shinglai of Liwa Leikun village under Chandel police station.
The incident took place at around 2:20 pm in the afternoon. All items inside the house including clothings and food grains were completely destroyed in the mishap.
The Chandel fire personnel on being informed by Chandel police reached the spot and douse the fire along with the assistance of the local residents and a team of Chandel police. It is ascertained that the blaze was caused by LPG gas leak.
