Government of Manipur has announced holiday, for all Government offices and educational institutions, Private Sector Undertaking other establishment located within the area of by-election to the Thongju and Thangmeiband Assembly constituencies on November 21, in order to enable the employees to exercise their right of franchise on the day of the by-election. Besides, employees of both government and private sector undertaking who are electors of both the constituencies are also allowed to avail Special Casual leave on the by-election day.
