MLA Radheshyam today inaugurated the office of the Health For All Organisation (HFAO) at Arong Khunou in Kakching district.
The inaugural function was also attended by Superintendent of Police, Kakching district, Victoria Yengkhom, Joint Director of Manipur State AIDS Control Society ,MACS, Abhiram Mongjam and Pradhan Athokpam Bishwajit as dignitaries.
Secretary of HFAO, H.Premkumar, HFAO was formed by group of like minded people to facilitate medical facilities to people who face problem in reaching the hospital. It was registered as district level organisation on October 24 of 1992 and upgraded to state level organisation in 2008.
The organisation has so far taken up various programme for protection of environment and ecology , HIV and AIDS and to prevent Malaria under the sponsorship of various department since its establishment , Premkumar said.
