Heirok people says no to deployment of SPIOs in ADC election

Guardians and parents of VDF of Heirok in Thoubal district today protested the state government decision of the state government to utilise VDF of the area to ACD election duty scheduled to held on June 1. The guardian said that they don’t accept the term VDF as the people of the Heirok has been appointed as SPIO for protection of the Heirok village. The Guardians and the parents said that they will not allow their wards SPIOs to go for duty to the ADC election. Since 10am today 100s of people from Heirok area guarded at all entry points of Heirok village and check all vehicles including those of the security force. 
Earlier, to the guardians and parents of the SPIOs Heirok had submitted a presentation to the Thoubal District SP and  DC Thoubal district not to engage the SPIOs in ADC election.
