Imphal, June 18: An Indian made hand grenade was recovered from Litan Makhong of Heirok Part-II of Thoubal District at around 10:40 am today. The hand grenade was recovered by a team of 54 BSF Decoy during their routine patrolling at Waba Chingkhong area.
Later, a bomb disposal team arrived at the spot and retrieved the grenade and destroyed at a nearby paddy field at around 11:30 am, safely, report said. No group or individuals has claimed responsibility for placing of the grenade at the time of filling this report.
