Guv’, CM, Ministers greets people on Cheiraoba

Governor of Manipur Dr. Najma Heptulla, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, Works Minister Th. Bishwajit Singh, Forest Minister Th. Shyamkumar among others wish the people of the state on occasion of Chaeiraoba.

In her message the governor of Manipur Dr. Najma Heptulla said that Cheiraoba Symbolise the advent of the New Year particularly for the Hindu Meitei and every household celebrates it with great enthusiasm in the state of Manipur, The festival mark the transition from the old to the new with the arrival of spring and rekindles the hopes for a better tomorrow.

The Governor message also appealed the people to take resolution to collectively work to destroy the dark forces in the society trying to disrupt the pace of progress and development in the state and wished every household a peace and prosperous new year.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh in his message said that Cheiraoba herald the message of love and unity amongst us by cleaning our minds with fresh and hope.

“We celebrate Cheiraoba with religious fervour and joy, Let Cheiraoba bring better understanding, love, peace, harmony and prosperity for all of us in Manipur”, Chief Minister said.

Works Minister Th. Bishwajit, Forest Minister Th. Shyamkumar also wished the people of the state a prosperous and peaceful Cheiraoba and appealed the people to celebrate the day with traditional fervour.
