Guv, Chief Minister and Ministers greets people on Kut Festival

Manipur governor La. Ganesan, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, Works, and IPR Minister Th. Biswajit Singh, Forest Minister Awangbow Newmai, CAF&PD Minister Th. Satyabrata Singh among others greets the people of the state particularly to the Kuki Chin Mizo communities on the occasion of the Kut Festival, 2021.

Kut is considered the biggest festival among the Kuki-Chin-Mizo ethnic groups and its is celebrated as a post-harvest festival for thanksgiving and gratitude to the Almighty for a bountiful harvest. The festival also symbolizes peace, harmony and unity rising above the barriers of caste, creed or religion.

More and more people belonging to different communities have also joined in the celebration every year spreading the message of oneness. Let the spirit of Kut embrace one and all to strengthen the social fabric more than ever and bring prosperity to all the communities in the State.
