Fierce gun battle occurred between 27 Assam Rifles and a combine team of NSCN-K and ZUF Sunday early morning where one suspected militants cadres has been reported killed in the interior district of Tamenglong, Manipur said a reliable source.The encounter broke out when 27 AR were carrying out their regular RoP in the general area of Longkhalong south of Longchai and south west of Tamenglong district headquarter at around 5am.In the fierce but brief encounter one suspected militants was killed, said police source.Identity of the cadre killed in the encounter could not be established at the time of filling this report.
