A fierce gun-battle occurred today between the cadres of NSCN-IM and Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) at around 6.30 am at Tousang area under Khoupum Police Station of Nungba Sub DIvision in Tamenglong district. Report reaching here said that there was no report of any human casualty on both site. Police team along with Assam Rifles troopers rushed to the site soon after receiving the news.
