An NSCN-K cadre was reported killed in gunbattle with security force at Mukti Khullen Village in Tamenglong district early today morning.
According to report, the gun battle occurred when a team of 21 Para Troopers and 13 AR were conducting search operation at the area at around 5 am today.
The deceased has been identified as Sath (20 years), son of Chinguong of Tongtou Village, Tousem Sub-division in Tamenglong district. The combined troop recovered a Rifle from him.
