Miscreants today placed a hand grenade at the residence of Imphal Municipal Council Chairman, Aribam Nimai Sharma at Brahmapur Aribam Leikai early today morning. Family members of the Chairman found the hand grenade at around 5.30 am. Police speculated the bomb to have been placed for monetary demand.
