Two days after cadres of the PREPAK (Pro) had blasted a bomb injuring a personnel of the Assam Rifles at the Transit camp of the Assam Rifles located near Minuthong in Imphal East, one more grenade (unexploded) was found today morning at near the water tank inside the transit camp.
The hand grenade was reported to have been found at around 8 am today morning. Armed rebel group PREPAK (Pro) in a telephonic conversation to Imphal Times claims that the hand grenade was lobbed to the transit camp on March 9, a day before the blast. However, it failed to blast, the person identified as spokesperson of PREPAK Pro said. He added that as the first attack was failed the second attacked was successful.
