Govt. sets to go for paperless e-budget

The state government is trying its best to go for paperless/ e-budget from next session. Answering to a question by MLA RK Imo during question hour today Chief Minister Okram Ibobi said that the government has been giving top priority for improvement of the IT sector and the government too know that a paperless e-budget will be of great benefit of the state. While asking the question MLA RK Imo said that if the state government introduced the e-budget the state will be able to save around rupees 15 crore. Such e-budget has been introduced for the first time in Himachal Pradesh, he added.
