Imphal, May 15: The Sub Divisional Agriculture Office at Wangoi in Imphal West district which was inaugurated by the then Agriculture Minister Ph. Parijat SIngh and ex Chief Minister W Nipamacha Singh in the presence of local MLA Salam Joy and L. Palandro, Director of Agriculture on September 10, 2011 is now converted into a gambling house for some of the staffs. The office remain closed at most of the time and when open, staffs are seen nowhere but playing cards at the soil testing room open inside the office complex without bothering about the visitors.
Farmers who went for official matters have to return back disappointedly. Our reporters when inquired about the matter found staffs enjoying cards game during office hours.
