Governor, Speaker and MLAs extend Christmas greetings

On the occasion of Christmas 2025, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Thokchom Satyabrata, and MLAs Khemchand, Lokeshwar, K. Robindro and K. Meghachandra have extended their warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Manipur, particularly to the Christian community, through separate messages.
In his message, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla stated that Christmas, celebrated on December 25, commemorates the holy birth of Jesus Christ and is considered one of the most sacred festivals in the Christian faith. He highlighted that Jesus Christ was the embodiment of peace and compassion, dedicating His life to spreading the message of forgiveness, love, and brotherhood. The Governor noted that His teachings continue to inspire humanity worldwide to follow the path of harmony, tolerance, and goodwill.
The Governor expressed hope that Christmas 2025 would bring peace, hope, and joy to the State. He urged citizens to celebrate the occasion by strengthening the bonds of unity and reaffirming a collective commitment towards a harmonious and prosperous Manipur.
The Speaker and MLAs also conveyed similar greetings, wishing that the festive season inspires love, understanding, and solidarity among all communities in the State.
