Governor misleads people: PREPAK

Reacting to the Governor’s address during the opening day of the 10th session of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly Thursday, the banned People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has alleged that the Krishan Kant Paul was trying to mislead the masses by claiming that the outfit was a party to a tripartite MoU signed with the Government.
Stating that the armed group is clear in its conviction regain the lost sovereignty of Kangleipak (Manipur) by waging mass revolutionary movement, Assistant Secretary, Publicity and Propaganda of PREPAK, Leibakngakpa Luwang said in a release that it has no faith in the so called peace talk.
The peace talk initiated by Indian government is ‘dubious and lack political perspective’; it has no future apart from adding misery and sowing seeds of division among ethnic communities.
The proscribed outfit issued this particular statement in reaction to a Government claim which said that UPPK, several KCP factions, URF, KYKL (MDF) and PREPAK have signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
