Governor La. Ganesan pays Floral Tributes at Ina Memorial

Newly appointed Governor of Manipur La. Ganesan visited Indian National Army (INA) memorial at Moirang in Bishnupur district today. La. Ganesan paid floral tributes at the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and also paid homage to the INA soldiers. Significantly, INA memorial complex is the first place in the State that the Governor had visited soon after taking oath as the new Governor of Manipur.
La. Ganesan also visited the INA museum located within the complex where the museum curator briefed the Governor on the background information of the photographs, war memorabilia, artworks among others, which are on display at the galleries.
The Governor was accompanied by family members, dignitaries including Raj Bhawan officials, Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur, Superintendent of Police, ADM of Bishnupur district and other officials.
After coming back to Imphal, Governor paid a visit to Shree Shree Govindajee Temple, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the heart of Imphal city.
