Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal H. Rosita Devi informed that “Go to Village” mission would be launched simultaneously in all the six Assembly constituencies within Thoubal District on 1st May 2018. The DC further informed that campus would be opened between 8 am and 4 pm at six venues, namely, Nganglou Loukon Bazar, Haoreibi village (30-Lilong AC), Leishangthem (31-Thoubal ac) Wangkhem Bazar Community Hall (32- Wangkhem AC), Leirongthel Ningel G.P. Mayai Keithel and Manjangkhong (33-Heirok AC), Langathel (34-Wangjing Tentha AC) and Sangaiyumpham Pt.1 (35-Khangabok AC).
The DC also instructed the teams formed for the mission to prepare hoardings, pamphlets etc highlighting the schemes in local dialects for display at the venues.
It may be mentioned that 61 villages would be covered under this “ Go to Village” mission in Thoubal District.
