Instead of harassing civilian, arms group should fight between arms group. Those arms groups who are harassing civilian will be penalized by the people.
The above statement was said by deputy chief minister, Gaikhangam while replying to reporters regarding the Ukhrul incident at the sideline of the “Kouren Thaba” function held at Kwairamband Keikhel today. He further said that the incident at which a congress worker was brutally assaulted by NACN-IM cadres was related with the upcoming ADC election scheduled on June 1.
While terming the assault as an act of cowards Gaikhangam further added the MPCC condemn the incident. The very act is against democracy and will ruin a free and fair election.
