Gaikhangam appeals to promote work culture among the youth of the state

Kanglei Economic Development Organisation (KEDO) today observed its 8th foundation day at Khwairamband Nupi Keithel No. 2, Imphal.
Deputy Chief Minister, Manipur, Gaikhangam appreciated KEDO for trying to bring work culture in the society and the worker should work with discipline.
He further said that those unemployed youths in the state should pick up any kind of work instead of waiting for appropriate jobs. He said KEDO’s volunteers should set an example to all the youth of the state.
On the apprehension about the people of the state about the influx of the migrant labour , Gaikhangam said that if there is habit of working among the people of the state then the migrant labourers will automatically returns to the states. “ it is we the people of the state that encourage the flow of the migrant labours from outside the state.
The foundation day was attended by Chairman, Planning and Development Authority, government of Manipur, Mangibabu Singh, Chairperson, Imphal Municipal Council, Aribam Nimai Sharma, Editor, Poknapham, A Robindro Sharma, Editor Sangai Express, Kh Khomdram
