A new regulation was issued by the GAD Government of Manipur for the entry of vehicles inside the secretariat in order to regulate and facilitate smooth access to the Secretariat Complex.
The new regulation allowed vehicles with a valid pass issued by the Deputy Secretary GAD, to enter and parked inside the Secretariat block and the pass will be classified into four categories. Government vehicles for minister secretariat of the rank of secretary and above, and GAD pool vehicles will issue red colour cards. Those vehicles with a red colour pass can enter and parked at the south, north, ministerial and western blocks. Vehicles with a blue pass that will be issued to secretary officers of the rank of Deputy Secretary and above and below the rank of Secretary can be entered and parked at the north, Ministerial and Western. Vehicles with Green colour passed that will be issued to Government Vehicles of Head of Departments and Government vehicles and Private vehicles of Secretariat Officers can be parked in the Western side of the road NH 39 from the approach road of Kuki Inn to Telephone Bhawan (Government Parking). Lastly two-wheelers and GAD’s Auto-Rickshaw with colour yellow valid passed displayed on the vehicles will be allowed inside Secretariat Complex after checking the identity card of the riders and will be issued to only Secretariat Officers.
