Fresh Poll scheduled for 11 polling stations tomorrow in Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency

Imphal, April 21:

In a notification issued by RO Th Kirankumar 1 for the Inner Manipur Parliamentary constituency, it has been announced that a fresh poll will be conducted in 11 polling stations tomorrow, in accordance with the provisions of 20th April, 2024, along with Para 1, Chapter-13 of the Manual on Electronic Voting Machine, 2023.
All contesting candidates and their agents are informed to draw of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPATs) from the unused reserved list will take place as per the notification.
Additionally, it has been declared that the reserve Strong Rooms of 10-Uripok and 18-Konthoujan Assembly Segments, situated at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex in Lamphelpat under Imphal West District, will be opened on 21 April, 2024, at 5:00 PM for dispatch to the respective polling stations. The polled Strong Rooms will subsequently be re-opened after the fresh poll on 22 April, 2024, Monday.
The opening of reserved strong rooms on 21 April at 5:00 PM and the subsequent reopening and closing of the strong rooms on 22 April after the poll materials are received have been outlined in the notification.
