Free medical camp for senior citizens

Senior Citizens Forum organised one day free medical camp for the senior citizens at Singjamei Thokchom Leikai on Wednesday. More than 200 senior citizens took privilege of the free camp.
Speaking to media on the sideline of the event, Secretary, Senior Citizens Forum, Th.Ibopishak said that people, when become old gets various illness such as eye blindness, orthopaedic issue, etc. Hoping to give little help to the people who are in need of treatment, the medical camp was being organised today.
The camp was organised with the tie up of RIMS doctors and National Programme for Control of Blindness. Ibopishak added that free medicines and lenses for the senior citizens with poor vision will be distributed during the camp.
