Former Manipur Minister and MLA of 30-Lilong Assembly Constituency, Alhaj Md. Alauddin, passed away today. He was the eldest son of former Manipur Chief Minister Late Md. Alimuddin.
Alauddin, who hailed from Lilong Haoreibi Turel Ahanbi, was associated with public service and the political life of Manipur, following in the footsteps of his father, who served as Chief Minister of the state.
His demise has been condoled by political leaders, who remembered his contribution to public life and extended sympathies to the bereaved family and relatives.
The Namaz-e-Janaza was held at his residence at 4 pm today.
Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand, former Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren and Manipur Ex. MLA Welfare Association also condoles the demise of the Ex MLA.
