The final match of 2nd KASA KOSO foot ball tournament which was organized by 109 Bn CRPF under the aegis of IGP, M&N Sector CRPF at Mao, was held today at 12.30 p.m. between Rabunamei vs Chowainu in the presence of chief guest L. Lhoujem, Commandant-143 Bn CRPF , Sh Vinod Kumar, Commandant-109 Bn, Shri- K. K. Pau, A/C of 109 BN, and many other dignitaries & audience comprising of the villagers of nearby villages witnessed the title clash. Rabunamei registered a comprehensive win over Chowainu by goals 3-2.
The valedictory function was addressed by the Chief guest and Commandant-109 Bn, they congratulated both the winner and runner up teams as well as all the participants of the tournament for their sportsmanship and discipline during the course of competition and distributed the prizes/ trophies to winner and runner up teams. With this final match, the tournament concluded with an explosive competition.
