The Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS), Manipur, has reaffirmed its resolve to continue supporting the internally displaced persons (IDPs) and to redress their grievances stemming from the ongoing conflict in the state.
According to FOCS, the dialogue took place in the context of its meeting with leaders of different organizations working for the welfare of IDPs at its office located near the War Cemetery at Kaboleikai.
The organization noted that it has been interacting and responding to the difficulties being faced by the IDPs displaced from their homes for the past three years, adding that the organization would pursue the same and try to make sure that IDPs return and rehabilitate themselves to their homes once the ongoing conflict ceases to exist.
FOCS, further noted that the ongoing conflict has put people into great misery and appealed to the government to take the necessary measures to ensure the cessation of the crisis situation.
