Floral tribute paid to victims of extrajudicial execution

Imphal, July 11: On the occasion of 7th Foundation Day of Extrajudicial Execution Victim Families Association Manipur (EEVFAM) held here today at Kwakeithel Thiyam Leikai Community Hall, family members of those who were killed in extrajudicial executions offered floral tribute to the photos of the victims.
Addressing the gathering president of EEVFAM, Renu Takhellambam expressed her happiness over the recent judgment of Supreme Court regarding Armed Forces Special Powers Act and the power of armed forces in the state of Manipur.
She also said that EEVFAM has submitted detail report on extrajudicial killings in the state of Manipur to various bodies including the Supreme Court of India.
Secretary of the association, Edina Yaikhom presented annual report of EEVFAM.
