A five-member press team from Manipur has left Imphal today for five-day press tour to Madhya Pradesh as a part of the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme.
The main objectives of this press tour are to provide the media an opportunity to see for themselves the development of various Government of India Schemes in Madhya Pradesh and to enable coverage of important programmes and projects of various ministries and in this case to see how the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Vans giving out the massages of saturation of various schemes in Madhya Pradesh.
Further, it is to provide an opportunity to journalists of Manipur State to understand the ground realities with respect to the impact of Central Government Schemes in Madhya Pradesh.
During their stay in Madhya Pradesh, the team will visit Bio CNG Plant in Indore District, SANCHI Solar Plant and Indore City which was continuously awarded top clean city 6 times in ranking of SWACHCHATA Survey of Govt of India.
The Team will also pay a visit to AIIMS Bhopal which got an International patent in their innovation and research in respect of Orthopaedics.
Besides these, the Press Team will also visit and interact with beneficiaries of various Central Government Schemes in Madhya Pradesh.
The Press Tour is being organised by Press Information Bureau, Imphal in collaboration with Press Information Bureau Bhopal under the aegis of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Govt of India.
