A Social Audit Gram Sabha was conducted and completed successfully at Gamnomphai, Jalenmoul and Bolsang villages under Champhai TD Block, Kangpokpi district from 22nd May to 29th May 2019. This is the first of its kind in the whole of Kangpokpi district.
The social audit was conducted by District Social Auditor MSAA Sagolsem Sanathoi and Social Audit Coordinator DRDA Senapati Mataimi Muivah in the presence of SDO/BDO Champhai Shri Chunglenmang MCS; SO Champhai M. Budheshwor and VLW Champhai Md. Rajauddin.
Different issues including Job card verification under MGNREGS and selection of beneficiaries under PMAY-G to provide more beneficiaries to villages under Champhai block were also raised during the audit.
Verification of 7 (seven) registers, door to door inspection, worksite verification, Citizen Information Board (CIB) inspection and Social Audit Gram Sabha were conducted as a part of the social audit.
