First sitting of NEP Task Force convened

Imphal, Nov 20:

Education Minister S. Rajen Singh chaired first sitting of State Task Force on the implementation of New Education Policy, 2020, NEP in Manipur today. The meeting was held in the Conference Hall SSA at Babupara, Imphal West. During the meeting the committee minutely discussed about the early and successful implementation of the new project.

The sitting also discussed to propagate Awareness Programme on NEP in order to make public understood about the policy. Finalisation of a realistic and workable Roadmap and constitution of Sub Committees for Task Force were also discussed during the meeting.

M. Harekrishna, IAS, Commissioner, Higher and Technical Education and SCERT, T. Ranjit Singh, IAS, Commissioner Edn-S/AdultEducation, Ragitabali Waikhom, IAS, Director University and Higher Education, Dr. Nivedita Lairenlakpam, IAS, Joint, Secy.HTE Registrar, DMU, Director Education, L. Nandakumar Singh, IAS, Director SCERT, Dr. M. Meenakumari Devi and other officials of the department were also present during the discussion.
