Financial Literacy Camp was conducted today at Wangjing Kodompokpi Releif Camp.
Officials of various line departments of Thoubal district like Veterinary, Agriculture, Fishery, KVK, MSRLM, Mental Health under CMO and Branch Managers & officials of all Public sector banks like SBI, PSB and Private Banks like ICICI, HDFC, MRB and MSCB attended the camp and shared about the schemes available with them that could benefit the IDPs residing at the relief camp.
The meeting was chaired by Arambam Ruhinikumar, Nodal Officer, SDO Office Thoubal and presided by Dr. Meitram Uttam Luwang, LDM, Thoubal.
The meeting was organised by CFL Thoubal, MoneyWise and Crisil Foundation under the supervision of RBI. Moishem Khaling, Assistant Area Manager, Crisil Foundation and Marshida Asem, Manager CFL Thoubal along with Field Coordinators of Thoubal took part in the camp. A team of experts from KVK Thoubal led by R.K. Lembisana and L. Boris demonstrate about Mushroom cultivation on the spot. Materials were also distributed by them to the inmates. Officials of line departments also explained about feasible projects which could be taken up at the relief camp itself.
