Imphal: Film Forum Manipur today condole the demise of Dee Abonmei, the Liangmei Film Director on Saturday, the 28th October, 2017.
A condolence meeting was held today at the office of the Film Forum Office at Lamphelpat at around 11 am today. Chairman of the Film Forum Manipur, S. Mangoljao, while speaking on the occasion recalled the talent and spirit of the Liangmei Film maker and his contribution towards bringing up the Manipur Film Industry.
“Dee Abomei lost is a huge lost to the Manipur Film Industry”, Mangoljao said.

Information & Communication Secretary of Film Forum Manipur, Rakesh Naorem said that Dee Abonmei had work whole his life for the upliftment of the Manipuri Culture by trying to highlight the Liangmei culture.
A two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
