FIDAM and HRI launch poster campaign of the enforced disappearances

Families of Involuntary Disappeareds’ Association of Manipur (FIDAM) in association with human Rights Initiative (HRI) today launched a poster campaign of enforced disappearances in protest against the delay of the state government to investigate into the sensational human skulls discovery at erstwhile Tombisana High School campus on December last year.
Speaking to media, K. Ranjit, President, FIDAM, said that the launch of poster campaign is a part of the movement jointly organised by Committee on Mass Grave at Tombisana High School (COMGATS), FIDAM and HRI in protest against the state government to a prompt investigation into the recovery of the human skulls. He said there are 24 people of the state who had been enforced disappearances. As a part of the agitations being organised by various civil organisations and to make the people aware of this delay investigation of the state government the campaign has been launched today, said Ranjit. He further added the campaign will be further launched at Ukhrul district.
