An endangered animal, Ferret Badger locally known as Nungok Macha was rescued and handed over to the authority of Manipur Zoological garden, Iroishemba.
The species was rescued by one Thokchom Rishikanta a resident of Khuningtek under Khundrakpam area, Imphal East on last October 7 which he found from the hill of Khuningtek.
