Federation of Government College Teachers’ Associations (FEGOCTA) in its executive committee meeting held on 9th January 2021 via Online meeting resolved to demand immediate orders of 7th UGC Pay and Regulations, 2018 for the Government Colleges of Manipur. FEGOCTA appeals the Chief Minister and Education Minister to issue orders for 7th UGC Pay and Regulations 2018 latest by 27th January 2021 where if the government fails to fulfill the same by the stipulated date, Government College teachers will resume the suspended agitations from 28th January until and unless the orders are passed. FEGOCTA further resolved to boycott all online as well as offline classes, NAAC and other academic related activities along with different forms of democratic protests from 28th January 2021.
