Many Aspiring Candidates for Ishan Uday NER – UGC ( fresh 2019-20), are in a great dilemma as the State Nodal Officer failed to Revalidate their application status leaving their fate hanging in the air. Many applicants who secured high marks in their higher secondary exam and even the position holders didn’t get their names in result sheet came out today , while students with lower percentage of marks got selected. When checking online Many students found their application status remain still pending with the office of the State Nodal Officer, who was supposed to complete the revalidation process to qualify for selection process. The details of the State Nodal Officer is not found in the related portal and even the high level officials of the State Education dept couldn’t say who is the State Nodal Officer for Ishan Uday scholarship scheme.
Guardians of many ill fated applicants whose revalidation is still incomplete, sought the immediate attention of Hon’ble Chief Minister and Education Minister to look in to the matter and urged to complete revalidation and other pending process at state education department or else so that the opportunity of getting this special scholarship for students who are meritorious and belonged to economically weaker section is not missed out because of unjust procedural delayed.
Under Ishan Uday scholarship scheme 10000 students from North East , whose family income is below Rs 4.5 lakh will get the scholarship at the time of Rs 5400 to 8400 monthly for four years.
