Farmers training programme held

Training cum interaction programme on the Quality Seed Production on Rice Crop and its Importance was held at Purum Tampak Village in Chandel district.
The training programme was organised by the All Manipur Progressive Farmers Association (AMPFA) under the supervision of the ICAR Seed Project, DOR, Central Agricultural University Imphal.
Member of the Autonomous District Council Chandel, Th Hopeson Chothena , President of AMPFA Dhana Luwang graced the occasion as dignitaries on the dais.
Elangbam Mangi, Publicity of the AMPFA in his key note speech elaborated on the reason for organising such a training for the farmers.
Dr. Kh Robindro Deputy Director,  Central Agricultural University Imphal, Scientist Dr Pramesh Kh who had attended the training programme as resource persons elaborated on the farming of Tampha Phou (Rice). Farmers also share their ideas and sought knowledge on how to yield good products.
