Imphal July 14: District Agriculture Officer, Thoubal today organized a one day District Level Farmer Training program on “Seed Certification Process & Advantages of Using Certified Seed” under Seed Analyst Govt. of Manipur at Athokpam Indore Game Association (AIGA) Athokpam Thoubalon.Th. Gyaneshwor, District Agriculture Officer, Thoubal Govt. of Manipur and N.Hemajit Singh, Subject Expert and Extension, District Agriculture Office, Thoubal, Govt. of Manipur attended the program as the presidium Member.Resource Persons of the Training program, L.Sanatomba Singh, Deputy Director, AITMA Thoubal, S.Suramangol Singh, KVK, Thoubal, Kh.Nimaichan Singh,I/C.Pland Health Clinic Directorate, and N.Nimai Singh,Seed Inspector,Seed Analyst Mantrukhri,Govt. of Manipur spokes on the topics relating to Soil Management for Certified Seed Growing, Seed Identification and Genetical Purity Mantenence in Field Crop, Pest and Disease Cantrol on Certified Seed Growing and Seed Certification Process & Advantages of Using Certified Seed on the one day of the Farmer Training program.Around 50 Farmer including from Heirok, Wangjng, Lamding, Thoubal, Langmeidong and Khangabok attended the training Program.
