Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh recently organized a Faculty Development Programme on “Enhancing Teaching effectiveness in Education” at its Campus situated on Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, Near Chandigarh. Around 150 faculty members of different departments including Management, Engineering & Technology, Education, Nursing, etc. participated enthusiastically in the Programme. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group inaugurated the Programme.Dr Anshu Kataria while interacting with the Faculty Members said that the program introduced effective approaches to teaching and also helped the teachers to identify their own strengths and areas for improvement. He suggested the teachers to balance their career and academic development and keep up the spirit of learning something new as and when they get the opportunity.Dr Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group said that the overall aim of the program was to improve the general quality of education. He added that Aryans Group will keep on organizing these kind of FDPs frequently to prepare the teachers to make outstanding contributions to their institutions through the development of critical teaching and leadership skills.
